We love supporting future veterinary professionals, and we’re always excited to welcome college learners, student veterinary nurses, and veterinary medicine students into our practice. If you're passionate about animal care and curious about life in a busy mixed veterinary practice, you’ll fit right in. Our team is friendly, supportive, and always happy to share their knowledge.

Whether you're joining us for general work experience or EMS, you can look forward to:

• A warm introduction to day‑to‑day practice life

• Opportunities to observe and get involved in consults, diagnostics, surgeries, and routine procedures

• Encouragement and guidance from our vets, nurses, and client‑care team

• A relaxed, welcoming environment where questions are always encouraged

Small Animal EMS: Expect involvement in a mixture of surgery, consulting, and day‑to‑day patient care.

Large Animal EMS: You’ll see a variety of work including routine fertility visits, emergency/sick‑animal cases, herd health visits and data analysis. The balance of work does vary depending on the time of year.

We offer placements for:

• College students on animal‑related courses 

• Student veterinary nurses

• Veterinary medicine students completing EMS (small animal, farm, or mixed)
