At Belle Vue Vets we are here to offer advice on every aspect of your pets care through each stage of it's life from a young animal to a senior pet.

We offer vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and nutritional advice.

We have the expertise and equipment to investigate and treat anything from a routine medical condition to many advanced surgical operations.

Services:

  • 24 hour emergency services.
  • Telephone advice - We try and give helpful advice over the telephone, however most problems are better dealt with by bringing your pet to the surgery.
  • House calls - We are able to arrange house visits, but again treatment is usually more easily and efficiently carried out at the surgery where the correct equipment is available.
  • Free puppy parties, Weight clinic and Senior clinics.

Facilities:

  • Large reception area.
  • 3 fully equipped consulting rooms.
  • Dog and cat wards - We have separate wards for dogs and cats. The kennels and cattery are hygienic stainless steel units which are secure, warm and comfortable. We also have an isolation kennel area with under floor heating for any potentially infectious cases.
  • Operating Theatre - We have a dedicated small animal operating theatre and preparatory rooms equipped with hospital standard anaesthetic equipment and monitoring equipment including pulse oximeter and respiratory monitor.
  • Dental suites - We have a dedicated dental suite with ultrasonic descaler and polishing unit.
  • X-ray facilities - We have a dedicated radiography area with automatic x-ray processing, allowing quick results and rapid treatment following radiographic interpretation.
  • In house laboratory - We have a fully equipped in house laboratory which allows quick results enabling rapid interpretation and treatment.
  • Ultrasonography - Allows non-invasive visulisation of internal organs making a valuable diagnostic aid in certain conditions and also for diagnosing pregnancies.
  • Blood pressure monitoring - A useful aid for diagnosing and monitoring treatment of certain conditions, especially in cats.
  • ECG (electrocardiography) - Allows us to monitor the electrical activity of the heart. Again useful in diagnosis and management of certain conditions.
  • ASIF orthopedic equipment - Modern up to date orthopedic equipment which allows better handling of fractures. We also have equipment for external skeletal fixation.
  • Microchipping and identification.
  • Endoscopy - A minimally invasive procedure that is used to access the internal surface of an organ eg. the stomach, by inserting a tube into the body. Endoscopy can also be useful in the diagnosis of a foreign body.
  • Repeat prescriptions & dispensing.
